Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups. Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures. Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team. Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems. Replace faulty network hardware components. Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization. Provide remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation. Configure routing and switching equipment; configure hosted IP voice services and firewalls. Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy; upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware release. Collaborate on the documentation of IT security policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics Engineering. 6 months experience in job offered or 6 months experience as Network Architect, Digital Interaction Advisor or related occupation.
